This archaeological site is where the city was originally founded in 1519, until it was moved in 1671 to its current location; some ruins from that colonial era are still preserved there.

This beautiful and peaceful archipelago is composed of more than 60 islands, islets, and mangrove keys.

Spanish colonizers first arrived here during Christopher Columbus's fourth and final voyage to the new continent. Since 1502, these lands have been part of various administrations until becoming part of the Republic of Panama in 1903. In 1997, a large part of the territory was assigned to the Ngäbe-Buglé indigenous community.

Upon arrival at the hotel on Isla Colon, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to start discovering the beautiful corners of this archipelago.
