Guatemala and Belize

Reception at the airport and transfer to our hotel in Guatemala City. Accommodation.

Breakfast. We will depart for the Guatemalan highlands toward the town of Chichicastenango, where we will explore one of the most famous indigenous markets in all of Latin America. Today we will have an experiential activity: a corn workshop with local women to learn about the staple food of Guatemala. After the workshop, we will continue toward Lake Atitlán, which Huxley described as the most beautiful in the world. Accommodation.

Breakfast. Today we will take a boat to visit two of the twelve villages surrounding this beautiful lake. We will get to know the Tzutuhil village of San Juan La Laguna, characterized by the harmony in which its inhabitants coexist with nature and culture. We will continue to Santiago Atitlán, a town inhabited by Tzutuhil indigenous people who make a living from fishing and handicrafts, although they are better known as worshippers of a Mayan-Catholic deity they call Maximón. Accommodation.

Breakfast. We will depart for the city of La Antigua Guatemala. On the way, we will visit the archaeological site of Iximché, the ancient Mayan capital of the Cakchiquel kingdom. Upon our arrival in La Antigua, we will enjoy a tour of this colonial city, declared a World Heritage Site, exploring its main streets and monuments. Accommodation.

Breakfast. We will have a free day to enjoy La Antigua, strolling through its cobblestone streets, appreciating its old-world architectural styles, or simply relaxing at the hotel facilities. As an optional activity during the morning, we recommend taking an excursion to the Pacaya Volcano. Accommodation.

Breakfast. Transfer to the Guatemala City airport to take a domestic flight to Petén, followed by reception and transfer to the hotel. Free afternoon to enjoy the hotel facilities and its natural surroundings, explore Flores Island, or take an optional excursion to Yaxha. Accommodation.

Breakfast. Today we will visit the Mayan city of Tikal, the jewel of the classic Mayan World. Lunch will be served within the archaeological site. The rest of the afternoon is free to enjoy a stroll through Flores Island, accompanied by a relaxing view of Lake Petén Itzá. Accommodation.

Breakfast. In the morning, ground transfer to the Guatemala-Belize border. After border formalities, we will continue to San Ignacio and then proceed to the Hidden Valley natural reserve. Here, both nature and visitors find a refuge in the perfect habitat—a land where serenity, beauty, and adventure harmonize. We will have a visit to enjoy the nature and biodiversity. Accommodation.

Breakfast. We will have a free day to enjoy this natural paradise and the comfort of its facilities, or to take one of the excursions within the reserve itself, or perhaps continue enjoying Mayan archaeological sites such as Caracol. Accommodation.

Breakfast. In the morning, transfer to Belize City to the pier to take the ferry to the Belizean Caribbean. Arrival at Ambergris Caye (Cayo San Pedro), an island known for its paradisiacal beaches and its Afro-Caribbean musical atmosphere. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

Breakfast. We will have a free day to enjoy this tropical island full of color. Delight in its beaches and coral reefs, one of the most unexplored in the world. Accommodation.

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to take the flight back to Belize City and connect with your international flight. End of our services.
