Day 1 | November 10 | Santiago, Chile - Guatemala


The adventure begins at Santiago International Airport, where we will meet to start this exciting journey. With everything ready, we will board our flight at 7:25 a.m. bound for Guatemala.

After a few hours of flying, we will arrive in Guatemala City at 5:40 p.m., where our local guide will be waiting for us. After the reception, we will transfer to our hotel to check in and rest. This will be the beginning of a unique experience,

 full of culture, history, and landscapes that will accompany us throughout the program.

Day 2 | November 11 | Guatemala – Iximché – San Juan La Laguna

Departure by vehicle with our driver to the indigenous highlands. On the way, we will visit the archaeological site of Iximché, the ancient capital of the Cakchiquel Mayan kingdom.

We will continue to Lake Atitlán, considered by many to be one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. Upon arrival, we will cross by boat to San Juan La Laguna, where we will be welcomed by a host family for a community tourism experience.

In the evening, we will enjoy a welcome dinner with traditional dishes, kicking off an authentic cultural experience. Accommodation in a local indigenous family home.

Day 3 | November 12 | San Juan La Laguna - Visits to San Juan 

Today we will continue our authentic immersion in the indigenous communities of Guatemala. We will learn firsthand about their customs, traditions, and lifestyle. We will participate in traditional weaving and local cooking workshops, as well as learn about their worldview and ancestral practices that have endured throughout the centuries. Accommodation in a local indigenous family home.

Day 4 | November 13 | San Juan La Laguna - Chichicastenango

Transfer by boat to Panajachel, where transportation will be waiting to continue the trip to Chichicastenango. Upon arrival, we will visit the town with our local guide, renowned for its cultural richness and living traditions. Accommodation.

Day 5 | November 14 | Chichicastenango - Acul

In the morning, we will have free time to explore one of the most famous indigenous markets in Latin America, where colors, aromas, and ancestral traditions come together.

Mid-morning, we will continue on to the Quiché region, where the community of Acul is located. This authentic corner of Guatemala, with its serene atmosphere and deep cultural heritage, will allow us to get a close-up look at local life. Accommodation.

In the morning, accompanied by a community guide, we will enjoy natural landscapes, Mayan culture, local crafts, festivities, and cuisine. Accommodation.

Day 7 | November 16 | Acul – Cobán

In the morning, we will depart for the Verapaces region, located in the heart of Guatemala, a fascinating region that combines natural beauty, cultural richness, and history. Upon arrival, we will visit a coffee plantation. The Chicoj Coffee Tour is a must-see for coffee lovers and those interested in discovering the production process of one of the world's most prized beans. This tour offers a complete immersion in the region's fascinating coffee tradition. After the visit, we will head to Cobán. Accommodation.

Day 8 | November 17 | Cobán – Candelaria Caves

Early departure from the hotel to Las Cuevas de Candelaria to explore some of the most spectacular caves in this region. This is one of the most extraordinary underground networks in the world. Accommodation.

Day 9 | November 18 | Candelaria – Uaxactún

Early departure for the Petén jungle. We will arrive at Uaxactún, a community located within the Maya Biosphere Reserve. Lunch prepared by the community. In the afternoon, with the community guide, visit the archaeological site, see how gum and xate are extracted, view crafts made from tuza and wood, and spend time with the community. Accommodation in the community of Uaxactún.

Today we will visit the Mayan city of Tikal, the jewel of the classical Mayan world. Lunch and transfer to Flores. Accommodation

In the morning, transfer to the airport to catch the flight to Guatemala. Reception and transfer to La Antigua, a colonial city declared a World Heritage Site. We will take a walk around the Cathedral, the Central Square, the main monuments and museums to visit, as well as bookstores, restaurants, art galleries, etc. Free afternoon. Accommodation.

We will have the day free to enjoy La Antigua, strolling through the cobbled streets, appreciating its architectural styles of yesteryear, or relaxing at the hotel facilities. Accommodation.

Day 13 | November 22 | La Antigua – Santiago de Chile

After breakfast and at the appointed time, we will transfer from our hotel in La Antigua to La Aurora International Airport to catch our return flight. The departure is scheduled for 1:55 p.m., bound for Santiago de Chile, arriving in the early hours of the following day at 5:30 a.m.

It will be time to say goodbye to Guatemala, taking with us unforgettable memories of its traditions, its warm people, and its landscapes that combine history and nature in perfect harmony.
